How can I pay?

We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance.

Is your site secure?

Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your stuff. We get your money through PayPal later.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?

No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.

Payment

Even though this is a Canadian based company all prices on this website are in US funds. Most customers already pay in US funds and all supplies are purchased in US funds. This makes everything easy to keep track of. Any Canadian residents wanting to make a purchase and not wanting to pay in US funds contact me directly.

Shipping

All items are packaged with care and shipped  with Standard Service through Canada Post in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible. There is no tracking provided with Standard Service.   

Tracking is available with International Tracked service through Canada Post which is available for an additional cost. Please contact me for that shipping upgrade of $10 at augiebycarrie@gmail.com or through the contact form.

My turnaround time for order processing is between 3-7 business days depending on the steps needed to create items. Each item is handmade in my home studio.

Please allow anywhere from 2 weeks to at most extreme 4 weeks for your item to arrive if they are being shipped outside of Canada. Some internation orders to other countries aside from the United States could take longer. Items have to process through customs and it can cause delays. * Please note any holidays could also delay processing of items and take that into consideration at the time you are making a purchase*

Refunds/Returns

Shipping charges are non refundable as I did have to ship the item out. Purchaser is responsible for shipping if a return is necessary. For any refunds contact me directly.

NO REFUNDS will be provided without contacting me directly first. This is so I can keep track of the transaction. 

If items arrived damaged I will work with you to replace item or if it was a one of a kind piece Id be happy to give a credit twards any other choice of item valued at the purchase price. Realisitically it is not the sellers responsibilty to control lost or damaged items once shipped out but I will strive to make my customers happy. 

PLEASE ASK FOR International Tracked Service that comes with insurance and tracking if you want to track your order.

PayPal insures all transaction up to 45 days from date of purchase.

Privacy

At ( Augie by Carrie Jewelry ) we care about your privacy and under the new GDPR Law
introduced in the EU on the 25th of May 2018. We've taken steps to make sure your personal data is safe
and secure. In line with the new law we'd like to remind all EU members that we only keep your
personal data for the length of time as is necessary for processing of orders and for our own tax
records. You also have a right to any data we keep and that your inclusion in our group/page is
voluntary and you can unsubscribe at any time. Your information is only shared with the immediate
companies we need to in order to process your orders. We care about you and your personal data
and thank you for your continued support.

Additional Policies

All custom work requires at least 20% non refundable down payment once the design is agreed on or payment in full. Down payment is non refundable on any custom orders. 

Prices are subject to change. Augie by Carrie Jewelry is not responsible for any lost or stolen items once they are shipped out to you.

International customers may be subject to import duties, fees and taxes, which are levied after a shipment reaches their country. If a shipment is rejected because of customs clearance charges or refusal to accept delivery, the customer will be responsible for any fees incurred, including international shipment and handling.

Copper Electroformed Jewelry

All copper electroformed jewelry is handformed and plated in copper for 24 hours and up depending on size and design of the piece. These pieces are considered wearable art and are made with alot of love. They also take alot of time to create. I do my very best to ensure each piece is made with the utmost care, hand selecting quality stones and coming up with a creative design. 

Copper is different than other kinds of metal and needs to be cared for as such to prolong the life of the piece. A care card is sent with each design.

* Do not pull, twist, bend or crush

* Avoid any water or chemicals ( body lotions, perfumes or oils as it may affect the patina over time )

* Store in a safe place or box or bag given at time of purchase when not in use.

* Keep out of reach from children

* Patinas and sealing do and can fade over time with wear ( especially rings as they get the most wear) The colors of copper will evolve over time. This is to be expected and appreciated

* If need be wipe gently with damp cloth.

For an extra barrier clear nail polish can be applied to the back of the piece or any piece that is in constant contact with the skin.

Copper reacts differently to every body's chemistry. If you find wearing a ring turns your finger green it is a sign you have an acidic ph. Any greening will wash off with warm soap and water.

If there is a problem please reach out. Anytime after 45 days is considered normal wear and tare especially with rings. Due to the organic nature  of this process and the amount of time it takes to create each piece  there will be a fee for  remakes or replacements which can be discussed on a case by case basis.
